Our name, Wagnolia Bells, has special meaning for us.
We chose a Beagle to be our first family dog, and she was with us making memories for a long seventeen years!
When we got our beagle, we were a military family stationed in Charlottesville, VA, at The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School. We hail from the Southern state of Mississippi, so we wanted a true Southern name for our four-legged family member.
We chose Magnolia Belle. The Magnolia represents the "Magnolia State," and it also stands for grace, giving, and hospitality which is what we hope to convey to our clients. Belle, is for our sweet Southern Belle. Plus, a double-Southern name seemed appropriate. We affectionately called her Maggie Belle.
Wagnolia Bells seemed a natural fit for our wagging adventure, but we now associate the "bells" with the tradition of the ringing of wedding bells. In the past, the ringing of church bells was used to bless the wedding couple and to spread the news across long distances that the couple was married, bringing them good luck and fortune. With so many choosing to include their favorite furry family members in weddings or other special photographs, one might say that the bells are being replaced by barks, and on occasion, by meows!
We have added several furry tails to our family:
Archie, 8, is our daughter's Black Lab and one of the primary reasons that Wagnolia Bells now exists. He was at her wedding, and due to our poor planning, was cared for by family members. We quickly saw a need for assistance!
Wendall, 7, is our other daughter's rescue. Full of energy, he brings us joy every time he visits!
Finally, we have Henry James, our 3-year-old Chocolate Lab. We affectionately call him, Hurricane Henry, & his quirkiness captures our hearts every day. Follow him on Instagram at #mysweet_henryjames.
10% per wedding sale
